This week we learned that Brian Houlihan, owner of both The Tinker’s Son in Norwell, MA and Bia Bistro in Cohasset MA, is donating 10% of the proceeds from these two restaurants on Sunday 1/24/10 to help us in our aid, reconstruction, and development initiatives for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. The Tinker’s Son opened in November 2009 and is a “family friendly Irish themed” restaurant. Tinker’s Son is open on Sundays from 10:00 am to 12:00 am. A Sunday brunch is served from 10-2; a traditional Irish session from 11-2; lunch from 12-3 and dinner until 10:00pm. Tinker’s Son is located at 707 Main Street, in Norwell, MA (781-561-7361).
Bia Bistro www.biabistro.com has “Mediterranean fare with flair”; the restaurant is open on Sunday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Bia Bistro is located at 35 South Main, Street in Cohasset, MA (781-383-0464).
